Eeeeek! Blogging and Spiders.

Oh dear. I seem to be blogging, and I'm not entirely sure how it happened. Still, now seems as good a time as any; the academic year is beginning, so I'll be back at work tomorrow which means there's a chance that interesting things will happen which I can recount to my hordes of readers. Which is not to say that the summer holidays haven't been interesting, but I was too busy enjoying myself to want to sit down and write about them.

The most interesting thing to happen today was probably the spider in the sink. When I tried to rescue him from certain death by drowning, he ran all the way up and down my arm, while I tried to open the window to escort him from the premises. Spiders seem to like my house, particularly the sink and bath.
