Pirates, shopping, caches and cookies.
The weekend has been pretty fab. I picked my bro up from the station (a little on the late side because of not realising just how bad Friday night rush hour traffic could be) and we went to Sainsbury's to buy supplies. We played Escape From Monkey Island for a bit, and then had chinese takeaway and watched Pirates of the Caribbean. The boyfriend arrived in time to watch the end of it with us, and then we didn't have cheese and biscuits because we were too full of takeaway and strawberries.
Saturday we drove to Spalding, which is way more exciting than it sounds, especially when you run over a cardboard box and it becomes wedged around the wheel of the car and makes unpleasant scraping noises for the miles until you find a safe place to stop and remove it... We found some new shoes and a fleece for my brother, and I also bought some lovely new coasters, some paper from the exciting paper shop, and a new suit for work.
Today we went caching and I realised that some good stout waterproof boots would make the whole experience much more pleasant when grass is wet and mud is thick. Then we came home and baked delicious cookies, which I fully intend to spend most of the evening eating.

I almost went to Spaulding once. my best friends dad was taking us to see the spring bulbs but he ran out of petrol and in those days, on a Sunday, garages were very few and far between. So I can't remember what happened next but we didn't see any flowers!!
