I love weekends!
This weekend was so fun-filled and exciting, I didn't have time to sit down and write about any of it! Edited highlights: I made pork casserole and Eve's Pudding and we watched Interview with the Vampire on Friday. We went to Oakham, had chinese food for lunch, went to Rutland Water and did a bit of walking, came home, and had bread and cheese with tomato salad whilst watching Psycho on Saturday. We went into town, I was accosted by pupils demanding to know what I was buying and who I was with, had cornish pasties served by a former pupil for lunch, came home, made the most deliciously scrumptious brownies in the world ever, made curry, and watched Legally Blonde on Sunday.
I bought Jem's album, Finally Woken, too. I've listened once and quite liked it; it's a bit like Dido only better. Listening to it reminded me of another anecdote. One of my delightful pupils misheard the lyrics to the track "Wish I", and came into my lesson the other day singing about fish. Hardly blogworthy, you're probably thinking, but it was the same boy as before. I think I'm going to enjoy teaching that class.

I forgot to tell you something. Normally I'd phone up to do this, but it'll amuse the general readership of this page. (Hi!)
There was a HUGE spider in your bath this morning. I think it's back.
