Testing times

Having said there probably wouldn't be bloggage, I have been lucky enough to find time to myself on the computer for long enough to check email, chat to folk, and blog while I've been home. Not sure if I'll get on later tonight, though, so I'm taking advantage to write up the important events of the day now, and if anything happens later tonight of earth-shattering importance, you'll not hear about it until tomorrow. Unless it's like on the news or something.
After revising hard all week, the car passed its MOT with flying colours! Still, exams are getting easier, so I'm sure it's not as good as the cars of fifty years ago. But it means that I'm legal for another year, and the good news was that the brakes don't need replacing just yet.
But then we went to Doncaster to watch Scunthorpe play them at football. Doncaster were bottom of League 1, and Scunthorpe were near the top, so naturally we expected Doncaster to win 3-1. But we did give them a rousing rendition of "My garden shed is bigger than this", so it wasn't an entirely wasted trip.

Scunthorpe get called that, too. I think it's funny, coming from the North-East, a good 100 miles further north. :-)
