Cookies and crumble
I have discovered an important fact; I drive much better when I'm on my own than when I'm carrying passengers. I have thought of two possible reasons for this; either I get nervous when there are other people in the car, and get distracted by conversations, or my perception is at fault and I drive just as badly on my own but there are no screams from the passenger seats to point out the carnage in my wake.
Today I had visitors who I had to meet from the station, hence the passengers. We had a lovely healthy lunch and then spoiled the effect by making and eating blackberry and apple crumble with custard. But it was low fat custard, so that's ok. We also made a batch of triple choc chip cookies, which were definitely not low in fat, but we've only eaten a couple each, so that's ok. We went for a long walk too, which is healthy, and flew the kite, which is fun when there's wind but boring when there isn't. We attempted to play poker, and luckily it was time to go back to the station before I lost terribly. Then I came home, and made lasagne.
