Bribery

Being observed teaching difficult classes can be stressful. Being told your lesson was fine is a huge relief. Bribing kids with chocolate can be a valid teaching tool. Teaching a class of one highly dedicated pupil can be very rewarding. Every so often, I have enough good moments in the day to remind me why I wanted to be a teacher, and to persuade me to stick it out for a few more years before running away and finding a highly paid job doing hard maths all day long.

The house is becoming a mess again. I wish the spiders who are living here rent-free would get off their backsides and do some washing up or something while I'm out at work earning money to provide a roof over their heads. After all, they're huuuuuge enough to pick up a dishcloth or run the vacuum cleaner over the cobwebs they keep making. Wonder if I need to add them to the Electoral Register?

No. You have to be 18 to vote, and your spiders aren't that old, even if you multiply by 8 for the number of legs.
