Pleased to meet you!
Today has been an exciting day. As we had to start the day in Chelmsford to get my dodgy gears checked out, we decided to go clockwise round the M25 to get to Addlestone. This meant going over the Dartford Crossing, but as I was driving I didn't get to see all the exciting things my passengers were looking at.
We made pretty good time to Addlestone and arrived in time for lunch, which was delicious - we had burgers. It was very strange seeing people who I'd only seen in photos, and talking to people I'd never met before in real life and yet felt as though I'd known for years. This led to some interesting discussions about online friendships, because of course I *have* known these people for a couple of years now. Yes, you!
The afternoon passed by only too soon, in a whirlwind of eating pudding, playing on the quiz machine, talking about many diverse topics, and trying to remember to call people by their RL names rather than their screennames. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone, and I'm hoping there'll be a chance soon not only to meet them properly but also to meet the people who didn't make it today.
To get home, we continued clockwise round the M25 (overtaking Jenny and Chris on the way. They didn't wave back). So I drove all the way round except for the bit between the M11 and the A12. But I'd done that bit before anyway, so it would have been boring. Never done it anticlockwise though... maybe for the next meet.

You over took Jenny???
Heh heh, nice to see you too! See you at the next one
We did see you, but too late to wave! And yes Paul, I wasn't warp factoring it because I didn't have to, and the M40 junction was quite close. I *can* be sensible you know... ;-)
I hope I didn't talk b*ll*cks - I often do after a few drinks! It was lovely to meet you, Sam and Ali.
Yo Fluff. Will arrange a meet next time we are up at my sister's or M's aunty's.
Nice to meet your bro (too sweet to slap!) and sam
