New York Photos (Part 3)

This is the last batch of photos from our last few days in New York.
Firstly Times Square; we went there most evenings on our way to and from dinner and so on, and this photo was taken on the Monday night. I was very impressed with how well my camera coped.

On Tuesday, we visited the Guggenheim museum (most of which was closed off) and the Museum of Natural History, but the best photos were taken whilst sauntering across Central Park between the two.

On Wednesday, our last full day, we went on a boat tour which was part of our Citypass booklet.
We got to see lots of the attractions which we'd already seen, but from a different angle and with informed commentary by our guide.

Ellis Island, where immigrants were originally processed. Next time I visit NYC I think I'll actually go to Ellis Island and visit the museum.

Liberty Island. She speaks for herself, really.

Brooklyn Bridge again, this time from the water.

An interesting view of the Empire State Building from the East River.

The old Ferry Terminal.
My last picture is of the Bowling Green subway station by Battery Park.

I took plenty more pictures, and could go on all night about the things we saw and did, but I suspect I'd lose my few readers if I did that. Instead, there's an open invitation to anyone who wants to see the rest of the photos to come round for tea and cake sometime.

Nice piccies, FB. I can't decide whether or not it's a bad thing that the Statue of Liberty reminds me first and foremost of a certain computer game ("use the GEP gun!").
