Spending spree

I suppose I haven't been spending all that much really. I spent some of my birthday money on a table and chair set for the balcony, although it won't get much use until the weather perks up a bit. I think I'd better get some sheeting or something to cover it over when it rains too. The table and chairs were on a special offer, so I had some change left over to buy myself some plates and bowls from Whittard. They're a lovely blue flower pattern, and they're being discontinued so I got what I wanted at less than half price before they all sell out.

This weekend we went to Braintree, and I did some more spending. I got a pair of black throws to cover the arms of the sofa which often peek out from under the big brown throw I got last year. I also got some cushion covers for my horrible green and blue cushions, so everything matches nicely now. This was all in a closing-down sale so I don't feel too guilty about the spending!









You can also see my new laptop bag in this picture. I wanted something with proper padding in to protect my laptop if I have to take it from place to place, but I didn't want something ugly, black and businesslike. Pale blue will go well with most of my summer outfits :-)
