Wheeeeeee....bang!

Having spent a fabulous day sampling the delights that Wisbech has to offer (limited) we drove out to try and find somewhere to watch Peterborough's Firework Fiesta without paying the exorbitant entrance fee. We found a field full of other cheapskates, and although we weren't close enough to hear the musical accompaniment for the fireworks, we were near enough to see them and take pictures like this one:















Today has mostly been spent baking - the Christmas cake emerges from the oven shortly so I'm blogging now in case I'm distraughtly dealing with a sunken cake later on. Once the cake's out, the brownies go in, and then we're going to sample the sun-dried tomato bread.
