The most beautiful girl in the world
Well, I've been busy. I spent last week trying to get a bit of w**k done so I'd be ready to go back to School next week. I still have some to do today. I've bought quite a lot of CDs, which was possibly a stupid thing to do right after spending ages sorting them all out. If I want to file the new ones away I'll have to move them all again. From now on, I must only buy albums by bands from the last few letters of the alphabet.
I got contact lenses! My eyes are complaining like mad because they're not used to them again yet. It took me a scary few minutes to remove my left lens last night, so I'm not wearing them today.
I went home for a couple of days. We went for a bike ride, and it was the first time I'd ridden my bike for several years. My bottom is quite sore now. I wish I had somewhere to keep my bike here, then I'd ride it all the time and be beautifully thin. Except possibly with muscular thighs (urgh). I might look for somewhere with space for a bike when I move house.
I went to the quiz with my dad. I offered to drive, and had to drink lemonade all evening, but it kept my wits sharp for the incredibly taxing "maths question" at the end. Tom, Dick and Harry go swimming. Tom swims six times as many lengths as Dick, who only manages half of Harry's total number of lengths. They average 21 lengths. How many did Dick swim? Or something. We scored 82% on the quiz, and won a bottle of wine each.
Finally, I took some more pictures of the most beautiful girl in the world. She's about four and a half months old now, and has grown quite a bit. She loves to make silly noises at me.
