Busy
I actually found five minutes of spare time to blog the other night, but Blogger was being sucky and wouldn't upload my picture, so I had to abandon that plan. So let's try again: last week was the prom, and I ended up looking something like this.

I still feel as if I'm catching up on sleep from then - it didn't finish until after 11, and I still had to unwind once I got in. I was fit for nothing at work on Friday, and had to work hard to stay awake on the drive to Sam's. Saturday was spent catching up with the lovely Tom, who had been in America for a stupidly long time - so much had happened that I couldn't remember what I'd told him and what I hadn't, but I think we just about got ourselves up to date. Then it was Eurovision, and I thought the wrong Scandinavian country won - I liked Sweden.
This week has mostly been spent helping my sixth form pupil prepare for his first Further Maths exam. It was today, I haven't seen the paper or him yet so I have no idea how it went, but I swear I'm more nervous than I was when I did my own A Levels.
I have a stupid amount to do over the next few weeks and months. I need to start sorting out my classroom ready for the person who will inherit it from me when I leave, I need to make sure everything's neatly filed and organised, I need to start househunting and finding out all the things you need to do when you move house. It was significantly easier when I moved to Peterborough because I had no stuff - everything fitted into two cars, and I spent the first few months and a lot of money on furnishing the place.
But for now my targets are to get through to half term, and to have a fantastic and well-earned break away in Italy with my lovely Sam, and worry about everything else when I get back.
