Saturday happenings
As readers of Simon's blog will be aware, he and Jess visited us on Saturday. All was going well until his car broke. I took a photo of the tow truck:
The upshot of all this is that I didn't get much sleep, so when Sam and I went into town yesterday I spent far too much money on things I don't need, like a luffly fluffy bathrobe which is so nice I'm tempted to have a bath right now so I have an excuse to wear it again. This is on top of the teapot and shoes I already bought. And I'm meant to be saving for my holibobs at the end of the month. Looks like another week of eating beans on toast. *hurries off to open the windows*

Open the windows? Good grief, I thought I was the only tone-lowerer 'round these parts. I'm feeling distinctly usurped, now.
