Flat

The flat now has curtains, and I've done just about as much unpacking as I can do for now. I need a trip to IKEA at some point to get another bookcase and some other storage, but I'm at the stage now where I can live fairly comfortably and have everything essential unpacked.

I've also had my first week of New Job. It's early days yet, but I think I made the right decision to move. I've been enjoying the teaching so far and my new colleagues are a pretty friendly bunch. Lunchtime is an hour long, and there's a pub next door to the school, so there's time for a (non-alcoholic) drink on a Friday lunchtime once in a while, which is nice. I have to get up a bit earlier than I used to as it's 25 minutes drive rather than 10-15, which means I should really be heading to bed now. Photos of my new curtains will follow in due course, if I remember and I'm not too busy marking books!
