Warm house

I was going to post a picture of my new cupboards wot I built, but the camera has eaten all the electricity out of the batteries, so I have to put some more in. I have new bedside tables and lamps now as well, the last week has been an exciting flurry of flatpack furniture building.
So last night was the main event, the housewarming. I get very nervous about having friends over, as I'm convinced I'm going to do something stupid and make them hate me. I'm insecure like that. The only real stupidity was failing to put the little paddle in the breadmaker to mix the pizza dough, so I had to start again from scratch and we didn't get our pizza until later than I'd planned, but everyone said it was truly yummy and worth the wait, so that was nice. We all watched the rugby together, and for the most part we enjoyed it, and gave a massive cheer when England were victorious.
I drank a little too much, and have spent today recovering. Sam and I went for a lovely long walk to Tesco, via two geocaches, and then came home for a delicious lunch of home-made bread with bacon and mushrooms. Sam's gone to hostipal radio now, and I've planned a lazy evening in front of the telly, maybe doing a bit of my cross-stitch picture, maybe having some soup. Life's good.

Life will be even better when (note: not IF) we beat the Springboks. Glad you're happy!
