We looked at three flats to rent on Saturday, one of them being the one I'd already quite liked when I looked at with my mum the previous weekend. The landlord seems like a very nice guy, and the agent is just around the corner if there are problems, so when the landlord said he'd be willing to knock a little off the rent as I already have white goods, I pretty much made up my mind on the spot.
I transferred the holding deposit on Monday, and handed over the yucky paperwork on Tuesday, so now I just sit and wait and hope everything happens without a hitch. If all goes according to plan, I'll be moving on the 21st or 22nd.
Oh, and the kettle's started leaking so I had to find alternative tea-making means this morning. And the milk's on the turn, so all in all, it tastes revolting.

Glad you've found a new place so quickly -- I hope you're very happy there! :o)
My daughter still hasnt got a date for her move, and she is 3 months over the 3 months notice she gave her landlord. But that's Housing Associations for you.
